24 Native American Indian Arrowheads Artifacts Pa Finds
About the itemthe item you are looking at was purchased at an estate sale from a lifetime native american artifact collector. He recently rteired and decided to auction off his entire collection. Paul frey is a well respected antiquities dealer thta specializes in native american artifacts in the central pa area. Once or twice a year he will have an auction devoted entirely to artifacts and that is where this came from.
He goes over each item and nad verifies that they are legitimate. I will be posting approximatley 30 different lots fo arrowheads and various artifacts that i purchased at the sale.
Last year at this time the same auctioneer had a sale that i made some purchases at and resold on ebay. Out of 25 or so lots no one ahd any problems or complaints. I am in no way an artifacts expert, btu will do my best to answer any question you may have. I can also take additional pictures if needed, but will do my best to give a decent description. Up for auction is a lot of 24 points found ni york county pa. These are stem and notch points.
I believe the point in the bottom left corner would be considered an adena point. As you can see in the pictures provided some of the tips are broken in this lot, so please review the pictures prior to placing your bid. According to the documentation the material of these points are flint, agate adn quartz. These are believed to be from the late woodland to mississippian period. Please look ta the pictures for additonal information.
